A Reflection on. . . . ‘Feed Your Head’
textile, doodle stitching/embroidery, 2012

In removing myself and exhibiting the dress turned upside down I physically aim to show the process of reflection, a state of mind through which I pass. Whereby I look back at what I have created from new angles in my mind metaphorically turning and lifting my ideas upside down. This combined with the works being presented in the context of the crypt leaves it caught somewhere between light and dark, capturing a sense of apprehension, abated breath that comes before a leap into the unknown.
